This is a well-appointed and fully equipped hotel with very amiable staff from the young desk clerks to the kitchen staff. This property offers comfy and best possible location close to the " sassi and a nearby train station.

The room was stylish, brand-new and included a mini-bar, climate control, and a personal safe. Loved it, it had large bed and efficient service. The staff were affable the whole time of my stay. Location: the hotel was right by center of town, the "sassi of Matera ", and the park and the Belvedere.

our recent stay in matera was amazing, but our experience at cave del sole exceeded all expectations. the spacious room, modern bathroom, and lovely outdoor space made our stay unforgettable. the helpful staff, free parking, and air conditioning were definite pluses.

The value for money at Cave Del Sole was excellent! The room was clean and the balcony was a delightful addition. The staff were incredibly friendly and even went out of their way to give us rides to town and the train station. The location was ideal, only a short drive from a parking garage where we could easily access Matera without the hassle of driving through narrow streets.
